Article 1 - The present general conditions are intended for the exclusive use of the reservation of stays in guest rooms at LA GRANGE DU COUVENT. We undertake to personally welcome our guests with all the necessary attention to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.
Article 2 - duration of stay: the client is accommodated for a fixed period of time and may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.
Article 3 - reservation: In case of payment by Paypal or by bank transfer, the reservation becomes effective as soon as the client has sent LA GRANGE DU COUVENT a deposit corresponding to a minimum of 30% of the total amount of the stay or any other particular condition agreed upon in writing between the parties. LA GRANGE DU COUVENT reserves the right to debit the total amount of the stay 5 days before the start date of the stay (after deduction of the deposit).
CANCELLATION POLICY :
Article 4 - Cancellation by the client: All cancellations must be notified by email to LA GRANGE DU COUVENT.
a) Cancellation before the beginning of the stay :
- For cancellations up to 20 days before the arrival date, no charge will be made.
- If the cancellation is made less than 20 days before the arrival date, 100% of the price of the stay will be charged.
b) If the client does not show up before 8 p.m. on the day of arrival, LA GRANGE DU COUVENT can dispose of its rooms. The total amount of the stay will be charged.
c) In the case of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of the accommodation remains entirely with LA GRANGE DU COUVENT.
d) For private stays at the GRANGE DU COUVENT, special cancellation conditions are applied. The cancellation conditions are extended to 20 days:
- For a cancellation up to 5 days before the arrival date, no invoicing.
- If the cancellation is made less than 5 days before the arrival date, 100% of the price of the stay will be charged.
Article 5 - Cancellation by LA GRANGE DU COUVENT : When LA GRANGE DU COUVENT cancels the stay before the beginning of the stay, it must inform the client by email. The client, without prejudice to any recourse for compensation for any damage suffered, will be reimbursed immediately for the sums paid.
Article 6 - Arrival: the client must arrive on the specified day and at the times mentioned on the booking site. In case of late arrival (after 8pm) or delayed arrival, the client must inform LA GRANGE DU COUVENT by phone.
Arrival hours: 5pm - 8pm
Departure time : until 10.30 am
Article 7 - Payment of the balance: The balance must be paid at the latest on the day of departure. Consumption, tourist taxes and additional services are to be paid at the end of the stay.
Article 8 - tourist tax: The tourist tax is a local tax that the client must pay to LA GRANGE DU COUVENT.
Article 9 - Use of the premises: The client must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their purpose. He undertakes to return the rooms in good condition. In the event of theft or damage, LA GRANGE DU COUVENT reserves the right to charge the client for the cost of repairing or buying back the stolen objects.
Article 10 - capacity : The reservation is made for a precise number of persons. If the number of clients exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse additional clients. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification of the reservation at the initiative of LA GRANGE DU COUVENT, so that in the event of the departure of a number of clients greater than those refused, no reimbursement can be envisaged. The same applies if the number of clients is lower than the number of reservations: LA GRANGE DU COUVENT will charge the last negotiated rate.
Article 11 - Animals: LA GRANGE DU COUVENT does not accept animals except by special agreement with LA GRANGE DU COUVENT.
Article 12 - Privatisation: please refer to the General Conditions of Privatisation. A deposit of at least 30% is to be paid when ordering to validate the reservation. The balance will be debited at the latest 40 days before the beginning of the stay.
Article 13 - Disputes: In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction is expressly given to the competent courts of COLMAR.
